JEDIs for Survival

Thank You for Helping to End Rare Cancer

Since 2022, the foundation’s JEDIs for Survival teams and generous donors have supported Cycle for Survival’s annual fundraiser. We ride to accelerate progress in rare cancer research and lifesaving clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, bringing new and better treatments to people worldwide.

We are beyond grateful to our JEDI riders and donor community

Thanks to your incredible contributions, we successfully raised an astounding $258,805.

The JEDI Rare Cancer Foundation matches the first $10,000 raised by each of our regional cycle teams, and within six months after the close of fundraising each year, these Cycle for Survival donations are directed to the work of Pediatric Oncologist Dr. Michael Ortiz, MSK Kids, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, fueling bold ideas and breakthroughs (profile below).

Since 2007, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $342M for rare cancer research.

100% of every dollar raised at Cycle for Survival supports pioneering research and lifesaving clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), a world leader in cancer research, care, and education. Cycle for Survival’s annual fundraising is a significant milestone, but the battle is far from over. Rare cancer continues to challenge countless lives and we cannot afford to relent in our efforts.

Please remember: rare cancer is not rare but rare cancer research funding is.

Approximately 25% or one in every four cancers diagnosed annually is considered a ‘rare’ cancer. What is rare is the funding for much needed research that can provide hope for rare cancer patients and their families.

Together, We Can Change That.
